Pursuant to DepEd Memorandum No. 16, s. 2024, the Bureau of Education Assessment of DepEd Central Office, through the Schools Division Office, administered the National Achievement Test for Grade 12 on March 21-22, 2024.
Maryknoll College of Panabo, Inc., a participating private school, prepared for this undertaking by ensuring that all Grade 12 students were equipped with the curriculum’s learning standards along with 21st-century skills in the main SHS subject areasβincluding Languages, Humanities, Communication, Mathematics, Physics, Social Science, and Philosophy. Hence, reviews were conducted by the class advisers from March 14-19, 2024.
For the two-day administration of the National Achievement Test (NAT), the school was assisted by public teachers from Panabo City Senior High School as room examiners and Mr. Senne Von Murcilla, a Grade 11 faculty member, as a room supervisor. The DepEd Division office personnel, Mr. John B. Visillas, Education Program Supervisor; and Mr. Antonio R. Pasquito, Public Schools District Supervisor; were also present to monitor and supervise the conduct of the test.
The visitors were duly welcomed by head administrators led by Rev. Fr. Richell Fuentes, school president; Rev. Fr. Edie Mar Bulfa, HRMO; Ms. Antonita Paris, MAEd, SHS Principal; and Ms. Frances Marie Amper, RGC, along with her associates Mrs. Nenita Sarona and Mrs. Edith Colon. Other school personnel were on standby in case of an emergency, including class advisers; Mrs. Rys Ligan, school nurse; and Mr. Kevin Masig, Prefect of Student Formation.
The examination ended with a sense of relief despite the challenges presented by the busy schedule and hot weather. The MCPI-SHS Unit would like to express a sincere thank you to everyone involved for the success of the NAT 2024. May every hard work and sacrifice put into this be rewarded. Hoping and praying for best results!
