Students from Accountancy, Business, and Management strand, Humanities and Social Sciences strand, General Academic Strand, and Technical Vocational Track (HE, SMAW, & ICT) took their first steps in the professional world as they partake in the Work Immersion Program Deployment.
An essential component of the SHS curriculum is to let learners be immersed in an actual workplace environment, giving them the opportunity to gain practical experience and real-life realizations of the professional world. Through this program, the SHS unit aims not just to target this learning competency, but will also serve as an avenue for personal and professional development.
Early this morning, these students were deployed to various partner companies, agencies, and offices for their official first day as Work Immersion Trainees. They were accompanied by an assigned teacher to guide them through this monumental turnover. May this successful start continue up until the last day of their training period.
