Every May 28, we commemorate 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐲—a historic date marking the first unfurling of the Philippine Flag after the victory at the Battle of Alapan in 1898. This day is more than just waving our colors; it is a celebration of our identity, struggles, and sovereignty as a nation.
MCPI enjoins everyone to honor and respect the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐅𝐥𝐚𝐠—not just in ceremony, but in everyday life. Let us take this opportunity to reflect on the values our flag represents: bravery, peace, unity, and patriotism.
