Day 2 of the DOTES Teachers Professional Development Seminar was filled with energy, creativity, and collaborative spirit as our MCPI Senior High School teachers engaged in 𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔-𝒐𝒏 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒆𝒔, 𝒇𝒖𝒏 𝒘𝒐𝒓𝒌𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒑𝒔, 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒎𝒆𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒇𝒖𝒍 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒔𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 on effective assessments and performance tasks. From arts and crafts to innovative strategies in classroom evaluation, the day showcased how learning can be both engaging and purposeful.
Each activity served as a reminder that teaching is not just about delivering lessons, but about 𝐢𝐠𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐞. With hearts full of ideas and inspiration, our educators are now more equipped to bring creativity into the classroom and to assess learning in dynamic, student-centered ways.
