Today, April 19, 2025, we observe ๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ค ๐๐๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐๐ฒ, the silent and solemn day that lies between Christโs death and His glorious resurrection. It is a day of ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐, ๐๐๐
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐โa sacred pause in the rhythm of Holy Week.
On this day, the body of Jesus lies in the tomb. The world waits in quiet reflection, not in despair, but in faithโknowing that the dawn of Easter draws near. It is a time to meditate on the silence of the grave, the mystery of God’s plan, and the steadfastness of our hope.
For us Maryknollians, Black Saturday reminds us that in the ๐ฌ๐ข๐ฅ๐๐ง๐๐ and in the dark, ๐๐จ๐ ๐ข๐ฌ ๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐๐ญ ๐ฐ๐จ๐ซ๐ค. Even when all seems lost, He is preparing something greater than we could ever imagine. His light is about to break through the shadows.
May this day inspire us to find strength in stillness, peace in waiting, and faith in the promise of new life.
