𝐌𝐂𝐏𝐈 𝐒𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐎𝐑 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐋 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓 𝐒𝐎𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐇𝐈𝐆𝐇: 𝐁𝐀𝐆𝐒 18 𝐌𝐄𝐃𝐀𝐋𝐒 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 21𝐒𝐓 𝐍𝐌𝐒𝐐 𝐀𝐓 𝐁𝐀𝐆𝐔𝐈𝐎 𝐂𝐈𝐓𝐘, 𝐏𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐏𝐏𝐈𝐍𝐄𝐒

𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒌𝒊𝒕𝒂 𝒎𝒐… 𝒔𝒂 𝒊𝒎𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒆 𝒎𝒐, 𝒔𝒂𝒌𝒔𝒆𝒔 𝒌𝒂 𝒆𝒉. 𝑩𝒊𝒈𝒍𝒂 𝒌𝒂𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒖𝒎𝒂𝒌𝒔𝒆𝒔!

With unwavering determination and academic prowess, the MCPI Senior High School Unit once again proved its excellence at the 21st 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 (𝐍𝐌𝐒𝐐) held from February 21–23, 2025, in Baguio City.

Against fierce competition and excellent delegates across the whole Philippines, our 13 student participants, guided by 8 dedicated faculty coaches, battled through every challenge and emerged victorious—bringing home an astounding 18 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐬 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐥𝐥, including 6 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐞𝐬!

This remarkable achievement would not have been possible without the unwavering support of the MCPI administration, led by 𝐑𝐞𝐯. 𝐅𝐫. 𝐑𝐢𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐥𝐥 𝐏. 𝐅𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐬, our esteemed School President, and the School’s Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA) under the leadership of 𝐀𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭 𝐍𝐨𝐞𝐥 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐨 𝐍𝐨𝐞𝐥. Special thanks also go to IBEd Principal 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐁𝐡𝐞𝐚 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐥𝐲 𝐍𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐝𝐨, 𝐌𝐀𝐄𝐝, and SHS Principal 𝐌𝐚’𝐚𝐦 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐂. 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬, 𝐌𝐀𝐄𝐝, for their guidance and encouragement.

We also honor the selfless dedication of our 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐞 11 𝐚𝐧𝐝 12 𝐜𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬, the hands-on support of our 𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐩𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬, and above all, the grace and blessings of the 𝐀𝐥𝐦𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐲 𝐆𝐨𝐝, who guided us every step of the way.

𝐀 𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐅𝐎𝐑 𝐏𝐀𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍, 𝐃𝐄𝐃𝐈𝐂𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐎𝐍, 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐄𝐗𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄!

The National Math and Science Quest is an esteemed competition that challenges young minds in various fields of 𝐌𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐬, 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠, testing not only their knowledge but also their problem-solving abilities and quick decision-making. Our SHS Unit took on these challenges with grit and perseverance, proving that MCPI students are among the brightest in the nation.

This victory is 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐣𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐚 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐞𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐬—it is a testament to our students’ relentless hard work, our faculty’s commitment to mentorship, and our school’s mission to nurture academic excellence. As we celebrate this incredible achievement, we also look forward to continuing our legacy of brilliance in future competitions.
