𝐌𝐂𝐏𝐈 𝐂𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐁𝐑𝐀𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐂𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐃𝐑. 𝐉𝐎𝐒𝐄 𝐑𝐈𝐙𝐀𝐋

In commemoration of the 128th anniversary of the Rizal Day, we honor the life, legacy, and martyrdom of 𝐃𝐫. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐥, whose unwavering commitment to justice, liberty, and national independence continues to inspire Filipinos worldwide. Through his writings, actions, and ultimate sacrifice, Dr. Rizal exemplified the ideals of patriotism and selfless service to the nation.

This year’s theme, “𝙍𝙞𝙯𝙖𝙡 𝙨𝙖 𝘽𝙖𝙜𝙤𝙣𝙜 𝙋𝙞𝙡𝙞𝙥𝙞𝙣𝙖𝙨: 𝘽𝙪𝙝𝙖𝙮 𝙖𝙩 𝘼𝙧𝙖𝙡, 𝘼𝙢𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙉𝙞𝙡𝙖𝙡𝙖𝙣𝙙𝙖𝙨” (Rizal in the New Philippines: Life and Lessons We Tread), highlights the relevance of his teachings in shaping a brighter and united future for all Filipinos. As we strive for progress and development, his works continue to inspire unity and love for one’s nation even in our modern society.

As we reflect on his heroism, let us be reminded of the importance of education, integrity, and love for our country, which are values we must carry forward in building a stronger, more resilient Philippines. May we Maryknollians always remember the sacrifice made by our National Hero to achieve the freedom we have today.
