Along with the celebration of the BUWAN NG WIKA 2024, the non-STEM work immersion students braced for impact as they took part in one of the Pre-Work Immersion Series, the EFFECTIVE ORAL AND WRITTEN COMMUNICATION SEMINAR with the resource speaker, Ms . Czarina Nicole Lara M. Lanes, earlier today, August 30, 2024. With the theme: “Communicating with Confidence: Mastering Oral and Written Skills.” The seminar engaged with topics of both verbal and non-verbal types of communication skills to further develop the confidence of the students for future deployment and employment. “The seminar was a huge help for us students, It made me feel more comfortable heading into my designated deployment area in the future. Ms. Lanas was also very hands on with the seminar, which boosted our excitement for what’s ahead of us.” Said Niki Pescos, A Humanities student from St. Vladimir. She also said to say that, like her, many students are afraid of communicating and socializing, but all they have to do is to speak up and find the confidence within them, to make themselves more accessible to those around them. The students who joined the Pre-Immersion series will be further posted on their deployment schedules along with what batch they will be stationed in.
