Maryknoll College of Panabo, Inc. is committed to the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff during the COVID-19 pandemic. We have implemented several measures to ensure that our community can continue to learn and work in a safe and healthy environment.

1. Remote Learning: To minimize the risk of transmission, we have implemented a hybrid learning model that combines online and in-person instruction. This allows students to continue their education from the safety of their own homes while still receiving the support and guidance of our teachers. Our remote learning platform is designed to provide a seamless and engaging experience for students, with interactive tools and resources that promote collaboration and interaction among classmates and with teachers. We understand that remote learning can be challenging, especially for students who are used to in-person instruction. That’s why we are providing additional support for students who need help with technology, time management, or study skills.

2. Health and Safety Protocols: We have implemented strict health and safety protocols to ensure that our campus is a safe place to learn and work. This includes regular cleaning and disinfection of high-touch surfaces, mandatory face coverings and physical distancing, and health screenings for all students, faculty and staff. We have also set up hand sanitizing stations throughout the campus and are encouraging our community to practice good hygiene habits, such as washing hands frequently and covering coughs and sneezes.

3. COVID-19 Testing: We have established a COVID-19 testing protocol for students, faculty and staff to ensure that any cases of the virus are identified and addressed quickly. We have partnered with local health authorities to provide testing on campus, and we have also set up a dedicated quarantine and isolation area for students who test positive or have been in close contact with someone who has tested positive.

4. Communication and Support: We have established a dedicated task force to monitor and respond to the evolving situation and provide support to our community. We are also providing regular updates and guidance to our students, faculty and staff to keep them informed and aware of the latest developments. We have set up a dedicated website and email address for COVID-19 related information and resources, and we are also communicating with students and families through phone, email and text message.

5. Continuity of Operations: We have implemented continuity of operations plans to ensure that our core operations can continue in the event of a disruption caused by the pandemic. This includes plans for remote teaching and learning, continuity of business operations, and continuity of research and other scholarly activities. We are also working closely with local health authorities and other partners to ensure that we are prepared for any eventuality.

We understand that this is a difficult and uncertain time for everyone. But we are confident that by working together, we can navigate this crisis and emerge stronger on the other side. We will continue to monitor the situation and make adjustments to our plans as needed to ensure the safety and well-being of our community.
