Due to the impact of the low-pressure area, particularly in Davao del Norte, numerous lives are at risk. Flash floods and wrecked roads and bridges have left everyone in despair.
Even though we have been tested by this natural turmoil, many compassionate individuals have offered assistance, whether in goods, kind gestures, or financial contributions, fostering a spirit of generosity and unity among students, parents, and teachers.
This effort is coordinated through the Socio-Pastoral Affairs office led by Sir John Ralf Teman and facilitated by the SHS teachers. The students also shared what they have and took part in packing of goods at SHS AVR.
The tally includes 220 relief items, 101 packed garments, and approximately 250 extra bottled water. These contributions will be distributed to affected households in Brgy. Esperanza, Sto. Tomas and other areas that have not yet received any aid tomorrow, February 06, 2024.
May the blessings of the Almighty be upon everyone who dedicated their time, talent, and treasure to bring this initiative to fruition.
Tough times last long but tougher people last longer.
We’re all in this TOGETHER.
